1. About Us

Go To Shanghai is an independent tour companion service operated by a two-person team based in Shanghai, China. We provide custom itinerary planning, airport pickup, hotel booking assistance, full-day guided tours, and local transportation arrangement for visitors to Shanghai.

2. Our Services

  • Custom itinerary planning based on your interests
  • Airport pickup and drop-off
  • Full-day (8 hours) accompanied tours with cultural and historical insights
  • Hotel booking assistance at local prices (no service fee charged)
  • Transportation arrangement (actual fares only, no markup)
  • Restaurant reservations and local dining recommendations

We act as personal travel companions, not licensed travel agents. We do not hold a travel agency license.

3. Pricing

  • Full-day service: $200 USD per day (8 hours)
  • Half-day service: $120 USD (4 hours)
  • Multi-day packages (3+ days): $180 USD per day

Hotel, transport, meals, and attraction tickets are billed at actual cost with no markup. A detailed expense breakdown is provided for every booking.

4. Payment

  • A 30% deposit is required to confirm your booking
  • The remaining balance is due on the first day of service
  • Payments are processed via PayPal for mutual protection
  • Cash (RMB or USD) is also accepted for on-site payments

5. Your Responsibilities

  • Provide accurate travel information and preferences
  • Carry valid travel documents (passport, visa) as required by Chinese law
  • Obtain appropriate travel insurance (we strongly recommend this)
  • Follow local laws and customs during your stay

6. Limitation of Liability

Go To Shanghai acts as a companion and facilitator. We are not liable for:

  • Flight delays, cancellations, or other transportation disruptions
  • Weather-related changes to itinerary
  • Personal injury, illness, or property loss during your trip
  • Third-party service quality (hotels, restaurants, attractions)

We strongly recommend purchasing comprehensive travel insurance before your trip.

7. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated date.
